Savitha Raman BDS MFGDP

Savitha graudated from SRMC university, Chennai ,India in 2003 and started working in Cessnock, Glasgow in 2005.She relocated to Edinburgh in 2006 and worked in both NHS and private practices in and around Edinburgh until 2015 when she took over as a principal dentist of existing practice in Dalkeith which had a long existing list of patients. Savitha is an experienced dentist with relaxed, gentle and reassuring manner. She is preferred by a lot of patients because of her gentle nature and she is extremely good with nervous patients and kids. Savitha is enthusiastic about all aspects of general dentistry and is keen to give the very best dental care for her patients. She has a preventive approach to dentistry and strongly believes in minimally invasive dentistry.
Savitha is a busy parent with 2 kids and enjoys spending time with family. Her hobbies are cycling,walking, watching movies and loves travelling and exploring different cultures.

Sanuka graduated from Birmingham university in 1998 and began practicing in London, whilst occasionally working abroad, she has now moved with her family and settled in Scotland.
She believes in a friendly atmosphere for putting her patients at ease and in control of their care.
Sanuka enjoys travelling, train journeys and walking holidays.
Ignacio Verdejo Vila (Nacho)

Nacho studied dentistry in Valencia, Spain, where he completed his de-gree in 2009. He has been working in Scotland since 2011 moving here after complet-ing the 1 year course “Introduction to implant dentistry with Biomet 3i, in Valencia(Spain).
After this he knew he wanted to learn and get more training in implants and restorative dentistry. So he decided to start a 2 years masters de-gree in implantology and biomaterials at the university Paul Sabatier of Toulouse, France. (2013)
After completing this post-grad with honors, Nacho has been working with implants ever since.
He is also very interested in aesthetics and has been attending numerous courses through the years, such as Digital Smile Design in 2016. He is a member of different associations in dentistry and continuously seeks out training and professional development opportunities that al-low him to remain aware and knowledgeable about new dental practices and the latest technology being considered or used.
He is happily married with two beautiful kids, he likes to spend time with his family and travelling.

I have worked in the practice since 1993, starting as a trainee nurse then receptionist and now manager. I have enjoyed getting to know our patients over the years and also greeting new patients. Out with work I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my son play rugby.

I have recently joined the practice and am working towards gaining my Dental Nurse Qualification. I enjoy working alongside the dentists to provide the best care for our patients, I have learnt many skills since being a part of the team, I am looking forward to learning more and meeting more of the practice patients.
Outside work I enjoy a variety of activities such as reading, exercising and spending time with friends
